Q River Grill

The food was great, and better yet well priced. We were in New Haven for the day and were looking to support a black owned business. This spot fit the bill. I had the shrimp po boy with fries which was delicious. My husband had the Cajun chicken penne which he enjoyed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for food and a view that won't break the bank.

This place right here is it. One of the owners Chris went above and beyond to make my wedding a very special day. Everything came out. The staff was very polite professional and attentive. The hostess and the bartender made a great team your communicated well between each other on our needs. Another worker Odell noticed a slight change in me due to an incident not pertaining to the wedding said some kind words and kept me grounded and focused. Which I am truly grateful to him for that.Now as far as the event room itself and the food. The space was very clean and spacious I had to use of the party room and the patio also the grounds outside of the patio. As for the food Chris went out of his way to have specially ordered menu items. The appetizers and the meal were prepared and set out in a timely fashion. The food was delicious. My guests were happy and satisfied. We will be returning to this establishment in the near future.

The Fish Tacos were incredible !! I've had them on 2 Sunday afternoons.Both times my Servers were kind and my food was served promptly. I would highly recommend this restaurant .The view is beautiful. And please have desert !

Exceptional! We hosted my birthday party here this past weekend and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was on point; we had a SHORT wait for our food. Ambience was magnificent and relaxing which was set by the smooth jazz playing in the background. I had an awesome time. We had dinner and watch the sunset over the river, it was absolutely beautiful.

I like coming to a friendly, clean atmosphere. The food is good, I love the steak abd cheese egg rolls as well as the honeybbq wings. Staff is friendly as well. It's not too far from my house, I'll be a regular this summer

FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE WAS STELLAR!!!! So glad we checked it out. We went on a Friday night AND Sunday morning for the patio breakfast. FIVE STARS wasn't enough!!

Food is great the lemon pepper wings and lobster rolls are amazing. I come here a lot since its near my home & always leave happy. The owners are lovely and welcoming. Service can use work but its not fine dining & the prices are fair so im ok with it. Definitely visit if you want to support a small business!

Friendliest, most hospitable place we’ve been to in ages. We’ were just passing thru town and stopped for an early dinner. The meal was outstanding and the service was wonderful. Wish it was warmer weather to allow us to enjoy the lovely deck on the river. Definitely recommend and will return
